Akimine Kamijyo is a Japanese writer and manga artist. Nicknamed Joshi (Miss), his work is first published in the form of dōjinshi it takes the pseudonym Meika Hatagashira.

She worked for two months as assistant Rumiko Takahashi then Haruko Kashiwagi, author of Inu or Quojuz.

His first work is Samurai Deeper Kyo, started in 1999, finished in 2006 after 38 volumes and adapted for television in 2002.

His next work is Shirogane no Karasu, begun in May 2007 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine and ended after 25 chapters in December 2007.

After the relative failure of this (little appreciated by the Japanese public), the author began Code: Breaker in June 2008 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. It was completed in 2013.
